Merchandising

This module performs the key functions of Item Forecasting as well as Inventory, Sales and Merchandise analysis:

Item Forecasting: In this process, items that are in active Offers are projected to a final number and combined with Item Plans for future Offers. The result is a total "Left To Sell" number that is compared to your ownership of inventory [On-Hand and On-Order].

Included in these calculations are returns and damages logic, the inclusion of backorders, etc.

Inventory Analysis: These are a series of outputs that identify out of balance conditions and prioritize them for action by the Control Buyer. Tools provide for the management of On-Order and Backorders. Other outputs manage both the identification and liquidation of excess inventory.

Sales Analysis: The business is analyzed in many ways providing "flash" selling reporting, and other outputs for a timely and comprehensive read of the business.

Merchandise Analysis: There are dozens and dozens of predefined outputs here providing almost endless capabilities to analyze the business from a merchandising perspective.
